Born in 1942, Giuseppe Bertellotti acquired skill in lumberjack craft from his father, many years ago. Giuseppe knows the laws of the forest and the soul of the logs and he regrets not being able to pass on to nobody else the practice and the experience he accumulated over many years in this work. The lumberjack is one more craft which the hard law of economy is making it unprofitable and thus unattractive. Giuseppe is one of the few lumberjack remaining (probably the last one in this area) who still has the skill to obtain beams from oak logs, using his hands and his axe
